456C Smoothie Headset & 1.5" forks

If I want to run some 1.5" tapered forks on a 456C frame then can I use the 1.5" lower race (it's a FSA crown race)that's already on the forks directly with the on-one smoothie headset (which was running 1 1/8")? Or do I have to buy the 1.5" lower smoothie specific crown race? £20 seems a steep price for a crown race!

They are usually specific to the headset.

never used the headset you refare to but IME canecreek hope fsa they are headset specific so hope on a hope canecreek on canecreek ect..
i tried to use cane creek one on a fsa headset and a fsa one with a hope head set and they would not fit propper..
