Hi,
I'm going to be installing a new hollowtech BB, and was wondering if the BB shell should be greased prior to this, and if so with what kind of grease.
Thanks

Yes. Grease the threads. I'd use copper grease.

Most have some thread treatment on them already.
But some anti seize will not b bad.
Just a replacement BB ? Oh do grease the seal on the dirt tube."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If yes get the BB shell faced. I at least checked the the sides are true."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
