I know several northerners have pointed out the unfairness of all the sample sales going on down London, so now's your chance...

There's a Rapha sample sale coming up in Manchester (26 May).
http://www.rapha.cc/rapha-sample-sale-manchester

NB I don't work for Rapha but I happen to like their stuff (though not the prices) so thought I'd share...

Oh no. Loads of Northerners sullying the good name of the brand.

Well, the blue half of Manchester has nicked so many of our players that it's to be expected that they try to nick our brands too.
FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
    FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
FCN 9: B Twin Vitamin - winter commuter/loan bike for trainees

Oi. Don't be slagging my team.

And I don't think you'll see too many northern chavs hanging around Greggs in head-to-toe Rapha somehow. In the 10 months since I've been back here I've only seen two people wearing it.

If the RRP on a club jersey is £95, what price roughly in the sample sale?

All jerseys were £40 in the one here in London.

Or about three months rent for Northerners.

Wouldn't it be funny if Rapha and Castelli became the chavwear of the decade, like Sergio Tacchini, Kappa, Fila etc were thirty years ago, or Burberry was in the Noughties.

    What would ITB wear?

Oi!!! Barnet is north of the river, but still within civilisation (London). Manchester is just south of Scotland!

I was watching it on TV at my Man United supporting Uncle's 69th birthday and had to mute my celebrations until I cycled home and came across 50+ fans conga-ing around the outside of a pub. This was after I got on the bike this morning and finally finally finally did 45 miles from north Manchester to Halifax and back using one of JZed's Garmin routes he posted, including WingTFU and going over Blackstone Edge (which wasn't half as bad as I thought!).

Now, however, I'm going to get completely, totally, and absolutely trollied.
