Hi,
Just be sent an email by ROSE advertising these DT Swiss wheels, they're less than £130 with delivery and weigh 1550g.

Seems like a good deal, does anyone have any experience with them?
Thanks!

They use the lowest end components in the DT range... rims with no eyelets, heavy hubs.
I don't believe for a minute in the claimed weight... more like 1650 or even 1700 (the ca. is self explanatory... how hard can it be to measure weight?).
That considered, the pricetag is so low that it's worth a punt... don't expect to live a long lifeleft the forum March 20230 -

Are you suggesting the front wheel might fail on the first descent??0 -

Of course not... I'm talking about the wheels...left the forum March 20230 -
Ive got them on my rose and just recieved the same offers email. I'd say go for it.
I was going to sell them and swap them out for something bling, but they have been bulletproof over the last few months and they are light (Skewers are shite though!) enough to race on. Ive had two pretty big crashes on them now, one when someone went under my wheels in a race, and they are still perfectly true.
I don't notice any flex in them, they feel good in the hills, especially in the saddle.
If i had any cash i'd get a set as spare.0 -

If you're one of the accounts who got the newsletter it's 130 quid, if you didn't get the newsletter then it's more.Jibbering Sports Stuff: http://jibbering.com/sports/0 -
Looks like they've sold out so the promotion price has been removed.
Luckily in true forum style I asked for advice but was too impatient to wait for the answer and bought them anyway for £136 including delivery!
Thanks for your replies.0
