Could join rides arranged on forums like here (see Rides section). I mean what's wrong with that... meeting up in the woods with some unknown adults! ;)

Oh don't worry, once they have had their filthy way with you they will take you straight home :) You might even have some souvenirs from your trip (mental scarring for example)

DK is not far from the truth. A few years ago my son, then about 14, told me he'd arranged a ride - I assumed with friends from school. On the way I asked him who would be there, assuming I would know them. He said "just some guys I met in the internet but don't worry, they're ok, they ride bikes."

DK was one of them - he's weird but relatively harmless.

Someone did ask (in Rides) what we did. Some idiot, who shall remain nameless said we go into the woods and take pictures of each other. Needless to say, he never turned up for the ride.

    Haha, quality.

To be fair people on the internet are just hiding behind screens and are quite normal. I've been on loads of forum rides and made some good friends from them.

We even take dirty pictues of each other.

I met Petenumbers off here when he was 16, we go on rides together and not once have I bummed him, not even a little bit.

Next time I'm hoping to find a less ugly child tbh.

    Erm I was 14 wasn't I?

But yeah, sometimes it's best just to get to know one or two people and you never know where that will lead, they know people and those people know other people and pretty soon you could find you know loads and loads of people and find these age limits get bypassed slightly for you because everyone knows you, not always the case though so don't go expecting it.

That sounds exactly like how I ended up involved with the criminal underworld that time.

    No, I don't.
So that's in addition to cottaging? Just checking the facts so I don't libel you.
