Can you get away with putting a 120mm travel fork on a 150mm travel frame? Or will it completely mess the geometry up.
A work colleague has just bought a Pronghorn RP6 lt 150 frame and is planning on stripping his hard tail for most of the parts including the 120mm reba forks.
Just wondering if hell get away with it.
Any advice would be great.

Losing 30mm of travel is a bit extreme, I'm sure it will be rideable, but probably less so than putting some 'OK' used 150mm's on there in the short term and selling on his more valuable Reba'sCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
