I need a new song to sing while riding

No, not out loud. The best airing this is going to get is quietly mumbled under my breath as I go. Or maybe softly whistled through my teeth.

Ideally, it would have easy to remember lyrics and possibly have a comedy or filthy theme to cheer me up a bit

Any thoughts?

(post lyrics if you can be arsed)

I'm currently commuting to 'Sign 'o' the times' by Prince. Great lyrics, a certain anger, and lots of great sound effects like drums & bass stuff that you can get your lips round. Mad

I find that "Remember You're A Womble" endlessly going round my head matches my cadence and keeps me going at a good pace.

You'll thank me for this eventually.

Yes, it's usually some god awful rubbish I end up humming or half singing, not knowing the lyrics properly.

I reckon a filthy rugby song would be a good bet to keep me going

I was out for nearly 120 miles in the p!ssing rain on weds and I couldn't get the last thing I heard, the 'Everything's Rosie' theme tune out of my head. Awful.

For ease of lyrics how about Get Get Down by Paul Johnson.

Theme song from Smokey and the Bandit. "Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'..." gets me home without fail.

As I filtered past that queue in the sunshine earlier on, I'm not ashamed to admit a spontaneous whistled "Magic Moments" passed my lips.

Otherwise there's always this old favourite...

Any Steve Earle does it for me, driving anyways. Copperhead Road has some good beat changes :D

How do you find riding when listening, as I have never been brave enough to try!

There's even some cycling at the start. That's maybe not the main attraction of the video though...

    Proud Mary, Creedence clearwater revival.

The lyric "big wheel keep on turning" sticks in my mind when things get tough sometimes.
