Saddle choice...help

Hi there, wise men with immense knowledge, practical advices and constructive tips:
I recently bought a Cube Agree GTC. Very happy with the bike...but not with the flat shape Selle Italia X1 road. I gave it a good honest 400 miles, including a latest 100 miles sportive. Hurting bum after 20 miles, sore bumbones and numb feet (if that is related or not...not sure..).
I was advised to try a more rounded shape like a Fizik Alliante or Prologo scratch for better comfort on longish rides....
I realise that the saddle issue is, at the end of the day a very personal one, but any comments and helpful advices would be nevertheless appreciated.
Cheers. Happy cycling!

Go get your sit bones measured and try before you buy that many LBS will do.
    Yellow is the new Black.
  • Charge spoon could be worth a shot. I actually have one on my mtb and it's rather comfy
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!

Hit the nail on the head as saddle choice is very personal & what suits one will not always suit another.

Best piece of advice is to go along to a LBS where they can measure you up as there are a few different manufacturers systems out there now & they should be able to give you the best advice on what to look for.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

Lots of LBS will have Fizik demo saddles for you to try for free. Don't borrow a Fizik Kurve though……they are sublime and you will want one!!

Nobody can tell you or advise you on which saddle to get for your ar$e. It's a matter of trial and error until you find the right one for YOU.
