Hi everyone, budget of £500!!!
3 choices of bike-buying tomorrow as I have a ride with work next week.
I think the spec on the voodoo is awesome for the price with air shocks etc,
The decathlon looks good too but haven't heard much about them,
Heart is saying go with the cube as it has a good reputation but still unsure!!!
Your help and views are much appreciated and thankyou for your time today

The Voodoo gets a rare 5 stars on this very site so I'd probably go with that. Personally I'd try and try them for size / geometry as I suited different size frames in different brands. I ended up going for a small with my current bike where my previous one was a medium.

I still think I'd go for the Rock Rider on spec - but yes, try them for size.

the 8.1 has the better overall spec, but the voodoo isn't that far behind, and the fork is supposed to be very good, and gives you a bit more travel, don't think you would go wrong with either to be honest

See what fits best with the Rockrider and Voodoo - if they both fit well personally I'd take the Rockrider. It's lighter, and the fork works better too.

The Aim is miles behind these two on spec.

Hey guys- went for the voodoo hoodoo.
Took it for a spin and it felt great.
Better than the cube analog I tested last week and Better spec than the rockhopper I was looking at too!
    Plus £100 cheaper!!
    Thanks for the help!
