My colleague has just pointed these out to me...
can't decide, awesome or not?

Almost tempted to say it's a waste of bacon :(

That's a no for me I'm afraid, I can't help but feel that cupcakes (or fairy cakes for the un-Americanised) are just a current fad for making cakes that look pretty rather than actually taste nice. The butter cream to cake ratio is always way out and the underlying cake is almost always some dry, bland little affair (although to be fair in this case it appears to be some bacon flavoured chocolate abomination).

Give me an Eccles cake any day :D

A colleague of mine baked some chocolate bacon brownies a few months ago, they were weirdly delicious.

when i was in amsterdam i saw on the menu:
    pancakes with bacon

so i thought, im having some of that. the bacon was cooked directly into this plate sized pancake and then it was covered with maple syrup and sugar. Was absolutely sensational.

Those crazy dutchies and their brilliant sense of taste

    eugh!

thats wrong on a whole new level

but i suppose the salty bacon would go with bitter (ish) dark chocolate
