Hi everyone,
I've roughly £700 to spend and have some across two bikes which seem ideal for commuting and riding around the local park and some trips around the welsh countryside/snowdonia. The two contenders are..
Bianchi Jab 7400 2011 - http://www.bianchi.com/global/bikes/bik ... ster=48447
Scott Scale 70 2010 - http://www.startfitness.co.uk/product.asp?p_id=39048
I can get the Bianchi for £675 and the Scott for £599.. Bianchi has only been riden 50 miles, the scott is brand new. I've read some great reviews on the Scott, but haven't heard much on the Bianchi, but it looks well specced for the price.
My current bike is way too small for me, so its time i upgraded. I need your expert dvice please guys. Maybe theres a different bike you could recommend which beats both in spec. My budget is £700. I don't mind if its second hand or brand new.
Also if anybody is selling a bike in the Uk for the same sort of money, and prepared to deliver it to Birmingham please share.

£600 for a bike with Dart forks?? I am no expert, but I think you can do a lot better than that for the money. I am sure a grown up will be along shortly to put me right
Oh, and the Bianchi needs to come with a health warning - the paint job is painful on the eyes!2011 Giant Trance Ltd, 2016 Revs, XT bits etc.0 -
isn't Bianchi italian for Raleigh to be serious though, of the 2, the jab would get my vote, a much better spec, though it is a bit brightSpecialized Hardrock Sport Disc 10- CANYON Nerve AM 6 20110
