Import Duty

Hi All,

I'm guessing there must be quite a few of you who have bought a (new) bike/frame from mainland europe and then had it shipped over......I hope

My question is...What am I likely to pay over and above the manufacturers price in import duty, vat, etc etc??

FWIW its a frame from italy approx 1300 euros.

    We are a member of a wonderful thing called the EU.. and as such there aren't any charges for trading with other member states.

    That's not the response I was expecting.....good news for a change!!

    The frame I'm thinking about is a Pelizzoli
