A couple of days in the Peak District

Hello all
The Mrs and I are looking to go away for a couple of days cycling in the Peak District.
We're both new(ish) to cycling so looking for around 30-40 mile routes, preferably on quiet roads in a hilly area and a B&B or hotel to stay in over night.
Could anyone suggest places we could take a look at?
Thanks!

Whaley Bridge is convenient by train and road from Manchester, and has good access to the Peak District with rides over towards Edale, Buxton and Macclesfield. I have stayed at the Springbank Guest House on Reservoir Rd and would recommend it.

The Tissington trail and the high Peaks trail for bikes are ideal.but may be not hilly enough .They are both Disused Railway lines with Scenic views over Derbyshire andh snack bar stops at old stations Each one is about 30- miles return journey.Check them out on their websites...Popular with bikes and walkers and can be heavy with bike traffic and Kamakazee kids on wheels at sometimes.Start of the Tissington is at Parsley Hey near Buxton or the other end which is Ashbournejc0
