Both my youngest kids are keen cyclists.
I reluctantly (although very excitedly in reality) stopped driving to school and started walking the four mile round trip.
This was deliberate policy because although my youngest is fit I knew he would say,"Can't we cycle to school?"
Now since then I've bought a road bike and am getting ready for my first 100 and my middle boy (12) wants to practice with me.
I feel proud that we can all share a wonderful interest which is relatively cheap, keeps you fit and allows you to experience the countryside.
If you want to see us in action please go to you tube and just type in Mid Essex Cycling and about twelve vids wil come up.
