Hmm it woud be interesting to know if he was tested and the timeframe of testing or hearing about the tests and then him being withdrawn... Quite like Charteau, i sort of thought 'ah he's an upstanding sort'.

Every TdF King of the Mountains should automatically get a two year ban. It'll save a lot of bother.

    What will @festinagirl say?

That her kid had Fish and Chips for dinner, or some equally enthralling remark

While on the topic, I follow FestinaGirl and find her tweets 99%annoying but then theres the 1% genuinely insightful/newsbreaking/interesting - but I realise i have no idea what her background is, who she is, what her job is, what her links to cycling are(I assume it has something to do with the old Festina team). Can somebody please answer these questions for me...Thanks.

    Housewife.

Too much time on her hands. Thinks she can change the world by tweeting.

I got the impression she was employed in the public sector somehow, but am not 100% sure. Maybe it's just because she's usually flogging some left leaning solidarity claptrap when not hating everyone other than Garmin and tweeting about her kids swimming lessons.

I have though many times about unfollowing her, but just occasionaly she'll say something interesting and to be fair I have had a couple of fairly rational discussions with her.

Ned Boulting went and interviewed her on the Real Peloton podcast a while ago.

    I'm being a little harsh / hypocritical.

It's not like my post count means I don't have too much time on my hands.

Possibly, but we are talking about a woman who thinks that Monsieur Hollande will be the great saviour of France.

So basically she's just a female cycling fan that has to much time on her hands? Other than badgering the sh*t out of Inrng and Vaughters she has no real link to cycling?

13,000+ posts in 2 years is pretty impressive. Who says men can't multi-task?

Festinagirl has followed the sport for many years.
While she may not post to everyone's taste, especially on the subject of doping,
her knowledge of the sport is equal to, or better than a lot of blokes on here.

I'm cool with the doping chat.

Fair enough. The problem with Keynesian economics is that to be successful it relies on governments being relatively prudent in the good times so that they can increase their spending in lean times. Neither France nor many other EU countries did that so you get what we have now which is a corporate debt crisis turning into a sovereign debt crisis.

Same here, I'm intrigued now as I can't think of many obviously female contributors to the pro race forum (Tusher, Ms Tree) in the time I've been on here (assuming of course that festinagirl is female!).
