I want to get my old Orange Clockwork frame and forks stripped of the rust and repainted (probably powder coat). Can anyone recommend somewhere I can send it to have it all done, ideally in the North West of England? Cheers

Nine miles into Wales from Chester, but a mate used these guys previously for motorbike wheels and other parts and was impressed with their work...

On the Wirral these guys are apparently good too..
http://www.birkenheadpowdercoatings.co.uk/gallery.php and their prices for motorbike components don;t seem too bad at first glance..
Included in our price is shot blasting priming and powder coating to a colour of your choice.

Very nice job you've done there. I don't think mine's going to be quite as flash as that but you're certainly inspiring me. I'm thinking along the lines of something completely custom, individual decals and styling with no Orange references. Need to decide on a colour. What year is yours? I seem to have the same frame (where the rear wishbone joins the seattube at the same height as the top tube) and I'm trying to work out what tubing it is (can't remember what year mine is). Is yours Tange?0

Thanks, mines a 1994 C-16r, originally it was silver with bright orange decals and deore STX 7 speed with v-brakes, had to have a disc brake mount welded on and the v-brake bosses ground off, but it was worth all the effort, looking forward to seeing yours all finished as I love these frameshttp://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595
