Hello :D

It's my birthday today and I would like to buy some nice shiny new carbon handlebars for my Orange :D I can't seem to find what i'm after though, either new or second hand. They need to be standard size (25.4mm) and I would like them to be 685mm-ish long. Either mid or high rise. I'm not fussed about the brand, but would like a known brand rather than something strange made in the Far East....

I can't find anything to fit the bill :(

I would grateful if anyone knows of anything that matches!!

Yep, struggling to think of carbon bars for a 25.4mm stem.

So it's a Hope stem and Crank Brothers Iodine 11 bars then!

    Happy birthday.

I reckon treat yourself (after all, you have been good haven't you?!) to a new stem and get a Easton Haven combo ;-)

    Happy birthday....

I can't fnd anything over 660 in a 25.4, add a superstar stem though (less than £20) and you open up the 31.8mm options......so much so you can get cheaper bars and afford the stem!

something like a easton monkeylite xc and a kcnc flyride stem (24.99, absolute bargain, properly light, and plenty stiff enough)

EC70 Monkeylite are great bars if you want 685 and tough carbon bars, plus good options in rise. Standard and oversize.

But yeah, can just change the stem and go oversize anyway and more options. But for 685, Monkeylite are ideal. Else Haven. Basically, Easton are dogs danglies for tough quality carbon bars.

Looking at ec70s myself (birthday coming up too!) - the oversizes are 685 and the 25.4s are only 660 so sounds like a great excuse for a new stem.

Not seen any good deals on them though just a few small quid off them here and there.

    Thanks guys :D

I *think* I have found an Easton bar at 685 / 25.4 / high rise (perfection 8) ) so I just need to find one with money off now.....!

Cheers for all the advice and the birthday wishes!

They are all made in the far east! Often by the same few factories.
