Please help me decide........

Shimano RS80's
http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/WPS ... %29#basket
£319.99 from Planet X
Weight 1521g

Mavic Ksyrium Elite
http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/w ... -pair.html
£399.99 (- 5% at the moment) from Merlin Cycles
Weight 1550g

Are the Mavic's worth the extra £60? Any better options out there?

I've looked at the Fulcrum Racing 3's but the Shimano version are out of stock at anywhere i've found selling them at a good price.

Yes the Elites are worth it and no there isn't.

I had the dura ace version of the RS80s and I prefer the elites. Mainly due to stiffness.

You could go handbuilt but even then you're struggling.

If you buy new Elites befor the 15th of this month then you can buy the MAvic MP3 program for £1. You cab bend, brake/crash them and they will replace them no questions asked for 2 years. Got to be worth something... It doesnt matter if you run over your own bike with your car, they are covered.
