freewheel dragging

got a problem on a tiagra hub the freewheel drags while freewheeling and slows the wheel down rather quickly if you take the chain off and spin the rim then hold the freewheel and is noisy could it just need removing and cleaning?

    I dont think the freehub body is a serviceable item as they are quit hard to get into and then reassemble. I have heard of people flushing the freehub body out and then re-lubing somehow but it might just be easier to get a new one.

    I also need a new freehub body for my bike - I've found it might to cheaper to buy a whole rear hub, take off the freehub and move it to the hub on your wheel. For some reason its more expensive to buy the freehub on its own.
