Campag 11sp chain

Hi, can you shorten a campag chain and then re-use the same pin?

They say not to, but I have and 1k later its just fine. I have also used quick links (Shimarno and campag on 10S campag) and they are great. The only sticker is you will need the original joining tapered pin as they are a bitch otherwise.

With an 11spd chain i'd say dont take the risk. Best to order a KMC 11spd quick link and use one of those (handy for removing the chain for cleaning too!

+1. Do not reuse pins on 11 speed chain. It may work for some, but it's really dangerous especially on that narrow of chain (5.5mm pins!).
