It seems there have been quite a few Canyons bought by people on the forum over the last few weeks, with me included. I got my Canyon Ultimate CF 9.0 last Tuesday, and it is absolutely brilliant compared to my Specialized Allez.

It is as stock apart from the wheels which are Shimano RS80s, Cateye Strada double wireless computer, Elite bottle cages and the Ritchey bar tape. I will write a post on my buying experience in a few weeks, once I have done some serious miles on it, as buying a Canyon is a bit of a leap of faith and it is good to read as much about them as possible before buying.
I am also selling the completely unused Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheels that came with the bike as stock on the forum (http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40049&t=12852190)

Thanks, it's actually a 56, and I am 5'11.0

Did you stick with the 100mm stem or specify a different one?
I'm the same height and was thinking a 110mm stem would suit me better.0 -
Thats nice mate, I must admit I am liking the look of these Canyons, great vfm as well.
Enjoy!Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!0 -
I went for the 100mm stem. I have been riding a 54cm Specialized Allez for 2 years which I think may have been slightly on the short side, so at the moment I am getting used to the more stretched out position. At first it felt strange but now it feels more comfortable and I am sure it will become completely natural soon. The best thing I would do is to compare the geometry of your current bike to the Canyon on the website and see what will be the closest fit. also you may want to ask the UK Canyon rep, he is very good at answering questions and in my experience replies quickly.0
