Unsure of what model forks I have....

I bought some 09 Revelation coils last year second hand, they came in plain white with no decals...
I've just opened them up for a service and the have oil seals under the wiper seals...
I didn't think Revs had the black oil seal... If I'm right does that mean these are Reba's or something?
They are 130mm u-turn coil sprung forks with lockout and rebound adjust. The crown has a slot for the remote cable if it makes any difference!

Will not be Rebas, as were 120mm max, or 115mm for older ones. The Revalation didn't have oil seals, but many people fitted them from the Reba. It doesn't need them though really.0

Yeah, not much oil in them so I didn't see the need...
I'm more worried that I've a different model of fork from what I think I have, doesn't bother me but I might be selling them soon and don't want to misadvertise!0 -
Got any pics?0

Looks like a Revelation 426 U Turn Air.0

Didn't think there was an air spring from looking at the u-turn adjuster!
Will find out later when I take them apart.0 -
Well was there an air valve when you took the lowers off?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Could be coil, the adjuster just looked more like the air lol.0
-
But as the lowers are already off he would have already have seen if it was air or not?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

There's no valve at the top, which i'm sure is a good sign it's the coil version!
Haven't been able to get the spring side cap off to check Seems like it's totally stuck on.0 -

As IIRC. The air U Turns have always been dual air."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nope, screw bolt on the spring side, hollow bolt with adjuster on the rebound side...
I'm certain it's a coil fork, it's just the presence of the oil seals which made me think perhaps it wasn't a Rev...
Seems that the lowers are the same across the Tora/Recon/Rev range... Is it easy to tell the difference between the 3?0 -
They are exactly the same casting 2006-2009.0
