1st of all hello people,
I was a member about 4 years ago but have forgotten all of my log-on details *Doh!
Funny to see how many names I recognise still!
Anyway i recently upgraded from my old Carrera Fury 2007 to a 2011 Kona Hei Hei XC Race as it was at a bargain price with a brilliant spec that i could not refuse and perfect for my local XC Routes.
However I have Recently given up on BMX as I was hitting a brick wall with progression (maybe because of the older and wiser fears of what can go wrong) and find just XC doesnt quite give me all the kicks i need on its own.
Which leads me onto wanting a bike more suited to a little downhill but also tackle some flatter single track section that i may come across, so i think this comes under the title all mountain and enduro?
Only 2 criterea for suggestions is for it to be sub 2000.00 GBP and be from a shop with 0% interest finance.
Im currently liking the look of the following
2011 Specialized Enduro comp
2012 Santa Cruz Heckler (a tad over budget)
Comencal Meta 5.5
I love the look of the Canyon Strive but damn Canyon for not offering finance to UK customers
Erm think thats it for now, thanks for reading!

The Spesh Enduro Comp is a special, special bike.
Had the 2011 for a few days last season. Don't think you can call it a review but wrote a couple of lines on it here;

nice little write up mate
The spec on the one you had seems alot better than the uk version

Just wrote in another post that Specialized's specs seem to get worse each year but that is way off of the one I rode. It was a test bike so maybe they spec them differently?
Still, it's an awesome bike and that looks like a good price to me"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes
