I do a commute on a canal path and while I wear padded shorts and baggies, my legs get filthy and cold.

I am thinking of getting some cheap running tights from sports direct (I think they are around £8) - are these the best to get or would leg warmers suit me better.
thanks

If you get leg warmers you have the versatile option of wearing normal shorts and putting the warmers on or taking them off depending on the conditions.

If you wear tights and it gets hot and stuffy your stuck with them.

Sports Direct actually do 'cycling tights' as well as running tights - they'll come up further at the back and may have foot loops (or not).

Look for them in a hidden dark corner of the Emporium of Polyester Tat.
