Any good riding places in West Sussex?

MTB noob

I live in Worthing area and have tried to find anywhere fun to ride. 8)

The only place that i have fully enjoyed is Stanmer Park (which is north of Brighton) but it is too far away to be practical. I have tried a lot of things in my area but still haven't found a place near to me which i can have a few mucks about to get good with my track lines for a long time.

Does anyone suggest a place where there is a good place to test my skill?
