Hello,
Could anyone help me out with what security cable is good for using with an existing bike lock I have? I want to add 1 or 2 looped security cables to lock up a couple of bikes.
I have found this on ebay but thought the knowledge on here would be better advice.

cut through it in about 15 seconds.
look at chains.
use one per bike so they can not just cut one and get many."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I use those cables with a Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 D lock. The thing to bear in mind is not to rely on the cables to secure the bike itself but to use them as secondary protection, ie to secure wheels etc. and to slow a theif down.
They are quite good cables though, try Amazon as they have 4ft cables for £9.45 and 7ft for £11.15 with free delivery.2012 Boardman FS Team

I got a chain from these guys http://www.torc-anchors.com/
There may be more secure locks out there but I liked the flexiblity of the lenghts and thicknesses available.0 -
