Wibbly Wobberly forks

mate of mine has a Vernon Barker bike with a quill headset

the headset was recently changed as the bearings were goosed

with the new headset fitted, if he rides anything past 15+ mph the forks vibrate quite badly

there is no play in the headset if you press the front brake an rock the bike

anyone any ideas?!

    i dont think so, ive asked him i will check my self, you know what these cyclists are like with all their lies.....
