Ey up chaps and chapesses! I'm building an MTB from a Carrera Vulcan frame and want to build a stand to set it up on. Has anyone done similar? I'm interested in where to get a clamp from.

Thats what i'm talking about, dont see the point in buying a cheapo off ebay when you can build something much better for next to nothing.0 -
i would not be putting any of my bikes in a home made stand... looks a bit iffy to me...
clamping a bike by the toptube aint a good idea. how would you work on the gears fitting new cables and indexing them.?www.bearbackbiking.com

are great value. I have the smaller fold away stand as its more portable. But £50 for the larger one is a great bargin.0
