Tyre resistance

I got to thinking today, and it hurt, I was told that it hurts the first time, but I degress :oops: , I was wondering if anyone knows the % difference in rolling resistance between an MTB tyre and a 25mm road bike tyre when used on tarmac.

    I couldn't tell you the exact amount but you'll definitely feel the difference. If I had to guess I'd say maybe 15-20% difference - I could be way out though.
