I've posted this before, but it's since had a make over: powder coated, custom decals and a few new parts
and as it stands it weighs in at 22lb which I'm happy with really.
Anyway sorry about all the pics, but I think she looks rather nice now but that's only my opinion.

ah i see, as there is a fantastic thread on this very section titled 'House Of Kolor Orange' (you should check it out if you haven't already, were speaking organic urethane paint systems, its MENTAL) & i thought this was going be similar, thats why i wondered about the 'House Of White', I'm real curious thats all, no problem hopefully
like the baby blue decals! if you don't mind me asking, how much roughly does it cost to powder coat a frame like yours?

sorry if I sounded off, I have seen the thread you mentioned, in answer to your question, a local firm done it for £25 but I stripped the old paint off myself with nitro-mores (took me about 2 weeks, never again) I was quoted £60 for sand blast and powder coat, but I thought I'd save a few quid by stripping it myselfhttp://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595

ah mate, nitro mors is CRAP!!!!! the old stinky stuff is awesome, but discontinued due to lowering VOC's now, they had to take out the main component Dichloromethane. neat Ribena would strip paint quicker now! if your ever going to strip any paint in the future on frames or any metals, woods etc. use StarChem paint stripper. its the Full Fat milk of paint removal! What is a Signature>?0

Thanks for the tip, wish I'd known earlier, never mind it has turned out really well and the decals I designed myself (apart from the main Orange ones) so it makes it really unique. Was wondering if I should give it coat of lacquer, any thoughts?http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595

for me a paint finsih isn't finished until it is clear coated, bit I've never cleared a powder coated frame (I've never had one and they don't actually need a clearcoat) the paints i use have to have a clear on top of them, and its what really makes the difference. i sprayed that house of kolor orange frame on here, and you can what difference the clear makes. one tip, don't rattle can the clearcoat, for the best finish it needs to be Gunned. What is a Signature>?0

They remind me of a big BMX tyre I've been looking at the Schwalbes myself for when mine wear out as they've been discontinued now.http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595

Just thinking it would protect the decals more than anything, the powder coating is a good tough finish, may heli-tape over them insteadhttp://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=12851595

I like this a lot, nice to see something a bit different.
I wouldn't bother with a clear coat, powder coat doesn't need it. Cool bike 8)2019 Ribble CGR SL
