Iceland
Not the supermarket before anybody lumbers me with a picture of Katona's fat arse.
I've been looking for a bit of inspiration on where to go on holiday this summer, and it's just been announced that there is a new route opening between Edinburgh and Reykyavik this summer. With taxes and stuff it comes in at about £150 return, which seems pretty good to me.
I then stumbled across this website, which looks too good to be true. I'm guessing these guys are massively oversubscribed, but hey ho.

I was wondering if anyone on here has ever ridden in Iceland? If so, what did you make of it?
Ta,
Rob

Not ridden there, but the majority of the country is volcanic desert. It's only the exterior thats got people in it, so tons of area for biking.
Personally, I say fuck the bike, go anyway. The place is fantastic.Check out my site - http://www.trail-dog.co.uk

Aye, I think I'm gonna go anyway, but I also think I might use the trip to justify the purchase of a Trance X2!
Looks like a really interesting place to visit all round.0 -
It really is. I'd imagine you could ride most of the walking trails easily enough.
If you do though, Skogar to Thorsmark is an excellent trail, and it'll take you over the new Eyjafjollajokull volcano. You might not be able to do it the other direction because the trail is too steep.Check out my site - http://www.trail-dog.co.uk
