Free Event - Cycle Island this weekend

Anyone doing the Cycle Island free event this weekend?

Weather may hold off - and the wind is at least coming from the right direction.

Not sure if I will make it this year but a good event. Can't find any of the WightLink 2 for 1 foot passenger deals though :(

    My folks live in Cowes so I do laps of the island quite regularly. It's a decent route. Not a huge amount of traffic. No major climbs to speak of but moderately lumpy nonetheless.

    im planning on doing 2 laps this year, hoping to get out of Yarmouth about 6am and get first lap in early. weather is looking promising , just hoping they have got the forecast right.

    It was! The Southern section was quick though with the tailwind. An excellent event, just shows what can be done for free. Food terrific :D Best cake award Yarmouth Victoria sponge :D:D
