nice dappled trees, some giraffe's have just appeared looks hot and nice - a better advert for a place to visit than the tour of turkey.

It's been a very aggressive race - the break's changed about 10 times in the 60km I've watched. OPQ seemed to be setting it up for a sprinter as they'd not been involved in any but now I see they have some bloke off the front.

I hadn't seen it more than 15seconds - but he does have 3 guys chasing him on a very small peleton - not sure how it got to be so small.

and 90 seconds to the main group behind that, not sure if the persuers are the big group or if there are some others.

It's the big group now they've hit that climb so 30 odd guys in it 30seconds behind Martin.

He's now been caught 4 at the front, Two Liq and maybe an Argos guy - very white kit anyway and Martin

Firsanov, Nerz and Moser - so Rusvelo not Argos.

Break just got towed along by the chalkboard bike for about 2km - Moser almost dropped because of it as he'd just pulled off after his turn.

The advantage of having Tony in the break. Home turf and all that. Virtually in his back garden, so to speak.

Degenkolb must be a bit of a local hero too - or is that some rival part of germany?

Liquigas are ridiculously strong aren't they?

Probably the only team that has a credible leader for every bike race of the year (with the exception of Roubaix).

No idea - I was making a terrible Tony Martin the farmer pun.

That's Firsanov - don't you recognise him from his riding style... Surely you know all the rusvelo guys?

    40seconds at 10km to go

although the "bunch" looks pretty small and shagged with now just one argos guy left at the front of it.

    Reckon they'll stay away.

Lead out the others and Nerz will win.

Attack by liq guy (Moser I think) - Firszanov covers it for martin.

Great shot that of Moser. Quick tightening of the shoes and off he goes.

A good win - was always going to be Liquigas in that situation.

Moser wins it comfortably. Nerz 2nd

Martin 4th - didn't look that strong at all the end. Not surprising really I guess.

I thought they were tactically superb, today.
Had Tony Martin work over the only sprinter train, then join him up front to stay away and win.

Oh yes mr Moser! Think this guy could be one of my favourites later.

Agree about liquigas. My favourite team. Performers, attackers, real professionals, good depth, young talent, great teamwork and lively kit.
