Apologies for any slowness on my part but ....

Saddleblaze on the twitter posted something today about L'equipe having written a letter of complaint to Sky. He said it was from an article in the Times.

Anyone know anything? He mentioned it in the context of Wiggins telling journo's to ask better questions.

    I'm wondering if it's around their control freakery about access to the riders and what-not.

    A few people have said they're not about PR than interviews these days.

    In the video dictionaries of the future, Wiggo's press conference should be used to define the word 'wry'.

    That was surreal, I can certainly see his point as no-one actually asked him any questions they all just made statements - he did well to make it light hearted!

    Think they were trying to make their "questions" as open as possible so they wouldn't get one or two word answers. Brad should understand the game by now, and clearly does, but doesn't want to play along. Don't think he came across that well even though it was light-hearted banter.

    Anyway, he rides his bike like a bit of a ledge so whatever.

    Wiggins is to cycling press conferences what Strachan was to football press conferences. Neither tolerate the usual media toss and are quite happy to let them know how dull, uninspired or downright stupid they are being, usual with humour.

    I've always had a feeling that the truth Brad feels extremely uncomfortable in situations like that where he is centre of attention. Which explains why sometimes he says stupid things and can come across as a bit of a knob in interviews, and why even when he wins it looks like he can't get off the podium fast enough.
