Retul fitting

Has anyone had any experience of Retul fitting, i have noticed on the Planet X website that they use this system. I personally went to Adrian Timmis at Cadence Sports to have mine, but i had already bought the bike by then. I am looking at purchasing a frame from Planet X, so i am not sure what to do over fitting. My current frame is an Orbea Aqua 54cm. Unfortunately it has been damaged beyond repair hence the need for an new frame.

Retul is only a tool used for fitting, it's still down to the individual fitter.
Like anything, you will get bad fitters and good fitters.0 -
I've had a Retul fit with John Dennis at Velo Motion in Milton Keynes. Superb service from a reputable guy who fits a lot of pro/elite cyclists and triathletes.
The single best bike related purchase I've ever made.
As per the above post, Retul is just a tool/technology used for the fitting. The level of service will be dependent on the competence of the person doing the fit. I would go on reputation and recommendation and not just if the fit is doing using Retul technology.
I may just be being cynical but there seems to be a lot of cycle shops offering 'professional bike fitting' services. Just because someone buys into a franchise and goes on a two day course doesn't make them any more than a slightly more knowledgeable sales assistant. I think it's just another method of maximising their profits and getting customers in the door, "A free professional bike fit with every bike purchased", for example.

Can you not match the new bike set up to the old one, assuming you were happy with the fit from Adrian Timmis?0

I am sure that if you contacted Adrian, he would be able to advise on the Stack/reach you require for your new frame.Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0
