Narrower bars, gear adjustments?

Hi

I have just fitted some narrower bars. I am wondering that due to the bars being narrow, does that mean I will need to adjust the tension on my front mech (my frame doesn't have any barrel adjusters for the front mech)?

Since changing, the front mech has been rubbing a little.

Thanks

unless you've changed the length of the inner or outer cables when switching then no. Front mech might just be out of alignment for other reasons.

    Hows your cable routing?

Does it still follow the same line or does it now have a sharper turn etc. which could affect its function.

    No. 100% no.

"Will narrower bars change cable tension?" Seriously?
