Externally routed Di2 cabling
Hi, I have often thought about building my next bike, probably using either an SL3 or R3 frameset as my starting point. Having had the opportunity recently to try Shimano's electronic Ultegra groupset, I have started to muse over whether to add this to my wish list too.
Both of the framesets that I am considering have externally routed cables and would therefore need the corresponding kit with the groupset.
Does anybody have any experience of the externally routed cables and pictures of what it looks like, as the aesthetics are quite important?
Nick

No photos Nick, but I built a friend's bike with external Dura-Ace Di2.
I used Shimano's own cable cover sheath to run the exposed cables down the head tube, down the underside of the down tube, and along the chainstay to the rear mech. The results looked discrete, neat & tidy.
The cable covers are available in black, grey & white (at least).0
