Freewheel doesn't want to play...

I am trying to remove my bicycle rear freewheel and replace with this (like for like)

This is the tool I have used, and what happened to it.

The free wheel (wrench and socket counter clockwise) is not budging at all. Even when internally soaked in wd40.
How can I get this blasted thing off? Has anyone else had similar problems? I thought this thing would easily unscrew and, once again, a 5 minute job becomes a bleeding chore....

Looks like it was made from a pretty poor grade of steel.
Best way is to mount the tool in a vice, pop the wheel on and use the wheel as the lever. Never failed yet!0 -
Thanks.
I was thinking of the vice. I didn't want to break another tool, though, as freewheel is literally not moving at all (with old broken to0l)
Is this the best tool bit to get, do you think?
Park Tool FR-1 Freewheel

It is a shimano TZ20 freewheel on a cheap raleign mustang bike.0 -
The park ones are hardened tool steel, so shouldn't break. Though if you take the wheel to a shop they would probably do it for a fiver.0
