Flat Pedal Reccomendations

I was really looking forward to some new pedals and saw the DMR Vaults, perfect, but at £75, a bit out of my price range.
Im willing to spend up to £30ish. I have seen DMR V8's on ebay for £21.69 delivered. Is this about the best I can get for my price range?
I have a black/blue 2012 Carrera Fury, does anyone else think the blue V8's will look tacky?
Cheers.

Wellgo MG1s usually get the vote in your price range. I have them on both of my bikes. As the paint inevitably wears or gets knocked off, i go for gun metal grey being the colour closest to the one they all end up being anyway.0

v8's are crap.
Some Wellgo MG-1's are probably your best bet!

You can buy Wellgo's V12 copy on Chain Reaction's for £22. Pretty much exactly the same as DMR's V12, great pedal, I've ridden them for years.0

Superstar nanotechs £43 or the ignites at £22 - nice sealed bearings and lighter than V8'sYou only get one shot .........so make it a double !

I had some DMR V12 second hand and they are great.
Bearings are no good on the V8, go V12 for the sealed bearings, can't go wrong.
Ride them and forget about them or buy V8 and make work for yourself..0 -
MG1s.
I have two.
And I have many many different kind make of pedals.
I like MG1 a lot.
You can get MG1 very cheap on ebay.0 -
+1for MG1s. I asked the same questions as you and went for them. Mangnesium as well so plastic light and as previously said in gunmetal look ok when getting scuffed and worn. I also would have liked some vaults, but would rather spend the £50 difference on something else!My biggest fear is that should I crash, burn and die, my Wife would sell my stuff based upon what I told her I paid for it.0

Thanks for all the replies, the Wellgo MG1's seem like the pedals to go for then.
Before I purchase, does anyone have any experience of these: http://www.bikeoutlet.co.uk/products/Oc ... 04-52.html
I am a little bit of a tart and they look good in blue!0 -
If you want blue pedals, just get the MG1s in Blue.0
