Hi, I'm Rob from Newbury, Berks.
Iv recently brought a new bike after 8 or so years away.
I ended up with last years cube ltd comp after looking around at bikes around the price range.
Loving riding once again and can't wait to start upgrading my bike.
Anyone know of any good rides around newbury? Apart from greenham, the tow paths and swinley forest?

Welcome. Don't know your area, but if you want to join in anything at Swinley, keep an eye on London Calling in Rides. Lot's of fun bits there if you know the place, and quite a few new trails buit in the last eight years.I don't do smileys.

the croft trail is just down the M4 in Swindon, would be worth a look at!

Depending on your riding preferences, both The Ridgeway and the Wayfarer's Walk are good rides ie in terms of scenery and interest, but may be too easy for you if you like more of a technical challenge. At the moment both trails will be wet and muddy in places. You can get an idea of what they're like by looking at some of the photos on Google Earth
