How to open up my fork
MTB noob

I have an old pair of Suntour forks that i'm going to sell to my friend for £20 and to do so, i need to clean the seals and the springs. :?
The problem is there's a awkward nut to open the fork up. On one side, there's a normal 25mm spanner nut , but on the other side there is a strange nut which looks like a section of a cassette hub. I have tried a normal socket but that just slipped because it is plastic.
I can't find a tool anywhere for the job but is there anyone that knows where to get this tool?
Thanks

There should just be two allen key bolts on the bottom to slide the lowers off. A special tool is needed to remove the spring I believe, as I couldn't remove it when I tried! Try pliers to unscrew it - didn't work for me, but may for you! I can't seem to find a link for the tool - try talking to your LBS.
I did find this link - http://forums.mtbr.com/tooltime/suntour ... 53451.html and it looks like he managed to just screw it off.
Also found thison top left leg use small flat screw driver pop preloud cap of (needs a good tug) then use long nose pliers to open and twist cap and wind out once this is out remove white spring top cap and remove spring slide out long black tube and fit into new spring then refit in reverse order0 -
Any idea what model so we can find an exploded view?0

It's the nut that Greer has posted "I did find this link - http://forums.mtbr.com/tooltime/suntour ... 53451.html and it looks like he managed to just screw it off." and it is a XCR 2006 LO. I did try and upload a picture but the server wouldn't let me. Also i have looked it up and i couldnt find it anywhere! But thanks for the adviceMy god road cycling is scary!
