Hi,
I would be very grateful for some help on a question that has probably been asked many times before - and apologise if I've not looked hard enough for the answer!
In short, I have a Specialized Hardrock MTB with standard knobbly 26" x 2.1" tyres. All my commuting is done via road and cycle tracks. I have read with interest that moving onto slicks is definately the way forward.
After doing some initial research, I've pretty much set my little heart on the Continental Sport Contact tyres measuring 26" x 1.3". The markings on my rim are 559 x 31mm.
Therefore, my question is... Will the 26" x 1.3" tyres fit on my 559 x 31 mm rims?
I appreciate there is a cross over of the imperial \ metric measurements here and believe that the 26" x 1.3" equates to an ETRTO of 32 x 559 - as shown on the Continental website at the following link:

Any help would be really appreciated.
All the very best
Paul
