not a great looking frame that in my book, and not even worth close to a grand!!!
If I had a grand, I'd buy a second hand santa cruz blur 4x, have it sprayed metallic black and treat it to a bos vip'r 8)0 -
Way to heavy for that money.0

A new Titus FTM Carbon for less than that... not strictly the same ball park but it's about as close to XC as I'd tread0
-
Surprised that you lot don't like that, i think its so nice,
but then in all fairness i would probally go carbon as well0 -
Looks nice. A 20 quid paint job... but weighs more than 99 quid frames you can get.0

Weighs 33g (without rounding errors) less than my Carrera Kraken frame that cost me a fiver (before respray), not really value for money! As SS says you can get frames weighing a deal less than that for less than £100, or an on-one Scandal for about £300 ish which weighs even less.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Im still lurking, had this frame. Purchased if for £500 as it was apparently the only one in the UK. Hope this is not the same one being resold.
Was a nice frame, light enough and built for racing, but no-way worth that much....
Paint was so fragile, you did the QR skewers up and all the paint literally fell of around the dropouts....
A lot better frames for £975 out there....0 -

Where's Njee and TBC and the case of the broken scales?0 -
Lol, is just that my 1996 Zaskar LE weighs less! Top end race frames should be sub 3lbs really!0

If I had a grand to spend on a frame, I wouldn't bother - I'd get the best wheels I could afford. You get a far more tangible improvement in ride quality with decent wheels (especially carbon rims) than any high-end frame will achieve.0
