I know its down to how often you ride but 6 months?
Ive changed mine twice in the last year and I do ride the bike hard, big drops, big jumps etc so is this about right or should I be looking at a different shock setup?
Rp2 shock atm.

i never changed one on any of my bikes i only tend to keep my bikes for 3 years..
but and theres always a but.. i seen them go and have to be replaced with in 3 days in whistler..
so i guess it like you say it all comes down to were and how the bike is ridden..
i wonder if susspension/frame type and shock type would effect this...www.bearbackbiking.com
