compact and triple bottom brackets compatability?

I'm thinking of changing the 105 hllowtech triple on my scott cr1 for a compact.Most parts are compatible. But will I need a new bottom bracket or are they different length ?

    I`m no expert but I think they are both the same.

    I have done the same thing. From tiagra triple setup to 105 compact.
    I kept the same bb. Some triple chainsets have a spacer between the chainset and the right side bb cup.
    You do not need this spacer with a compact set up (as it is used to mitigate for the chainline offset on triples).
