Pedals and bottle cage

Just ordered this today :D

What do you recommend for pedals and bottle cages? Have used Look Keo and Shimano SPD and like both. Thought about the Dura Ace 7900 carbons but looking for inspiration.

Collect it in a fortnight and can't wait.

    I've used SPD-SL, Speedplay and now use Look Keo Blades.

    The blades are by far the best pedal I've used. Feet are rock solid in them :)

    But everyone has different preferences.

    Oh and bottle cages, get some Elite custom cages :wink:

    Thanks for the replies. Will take a look at both the speed play and Keo blade. The elite bottle cages look good. Sadly they don't seem to do them in a white and dark blue combo to match the bike paintwork but maybe the white and black will look the part.

    Anymore suggestions?

    This is good to hear - have got some ready to go on my new bike which is due for delivery tomorrow. Currently using Keo Max

    I see that the speedplay range come colour coded and are available in dark blue which should match the bike :D They are very light in comparison to other lightweight pedals however the clip Mechanism is in the cleat. I can't find any mention of the combined weight of cleat and pedal as I imagine the cleats are much heavier than those from Look or Shimano. Anyone know out of interest? Lots of great reviews for Speedplay so I think I might give them a go.

    Aside from the elite bottle cages mentioned what else would anyone recommend? I like the look of the Bontrager RXL cage but at £30 more than the elite cage it doesn't look like particularly good value. Thoughts?

    I have a white Elite Bottle cage and keo carbon max pedals on mine....happy with both additions.
