LEJOG - Tricross or Secteur

I'm doing the Deloitte LEJOG in September.
Which would be the better bike to use for this ?
Secteur - Apex Groupset, Fulcrum 5 wheels.
Tricross Sport - Tiagra 9 speed, CXP 22 Specialized Wheels.
Both are very comfortable and I've been doing longer rides at the weekend on the Secteur. The tricross gets used as a daily comuter - approximately 100 miles per week.
I was just going to used the Secteur but am now considering the Tricross. I'm not the worlds fastest rider - 50 miles takes me about 3 hours 40 on the Secteur but not looking for speed, just looking to finish.
Any advice welcome.
Many thanks

Are you carrying panniers? If so then I'd say the Tricross. If not then the Secteur.More problems but still living....0

Wasn't thinking of taking panniers.
Tricross might be slower but might be more reliable ?0 -
If you're worried about the wheels then just swap the CXP22 wheels for the Fulcrums and use the Secteur.More problems but still living....0

Why would the Tricross be more reliable?
I would say go for whichever is more comfortable, given you'll be riding 100 miles or more each day.0 -
the secteur will be perfect.0

As you say they are both comfortable and probably both reliable and you are not bothered about speed, I would take the one that is best for getting you up the hills.0

I was rading about that Deloitte LEJOG only last night. It sounds like an epic journey, should be fun. As I understand it all your gear is ferried about for you, so why don't you take the bike you like the best.
