Hi. Brand new to the forum.
Got the choice of buying two 29er bikes.
Trek Superfly AL

Specialized Carve Expert

I've chosen both of these bikes as they should both fit my 6ft 7 frame and I'm mostly going to be doing single track and cross-country style riding with some road riding to get to certain trails.
I already own a Trek Hybrid that I really enjoy riding. Can't get to ride either of these before submitting final payment which totally sucks otherwise I would not be here asking advice combined with lots of other people.
I'm swaying toward the Trek because I own a Trek and the 100mm shock travel seems like a big deal as I get better on the mtn bike. Drivetrain seems to be the same on both bikes.

Intersted in what you ended up with. I am looking at buying one of the same two bikes in the 2013 year.0
