He was in the front group at Granfondo San Marino and the organiser shouted at the group that they needed to make him pull out. Apparently they just slowed down but didn't tell him to go away, taking pity on him. Not sure what happened after.

"Ricco in a Fondo" is now going round and round my head, to the tune of the The Beat's "Mirror in the Bathroom" and it won't stop!
Damn you, FF!'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

I'd get a book out of it at least.
With the right agent and suitable juicy bits tactically leaked, he could build up a massive head of steam on his revelations.
The angry Cobra spitting (in the soup) , all sorts of angles here.
Just not enough water under the bridge to avoid major legal issues I guess.0 -

somehow I can't see Ricco spilling the beans. He was brought up on the stories of all the top riders doping, and did it himself from a junior. I expect him to upload the Omerta just like all his heroes would0

If I had a pound for every banned doper who has been rumoured to be about to spill the beans I'd have a good few quid by now....0

Thats the actual bike given by Cipo to Ricco, innit?
The tag at the top reads "inviato da Rossi" ("sent by Rossi") which is his GFs name. She's obviously having a clear-out.'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -
Not sure but bike is from: Rimini (Emilia Romagna)
Not sure Cipo would be too happyContador is the Greatest0 -
Ricco short of a few quid or gave her the bike as child maintenance?0

Known drug taker on Pavorotti's bike.
Match made in heaven, or hell? Be interesting if he did start naming names though.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see him do something like this at the Giro at some point.
As a rider, Ricco was one of the most exciting riders (although how much of that was due to the dope, I don't know) since Rasmussen, and I would have loved to see a clean Ricco in a grand tour. It sounds like he has been doping constantly since he was a junior.0
