Blackspire stinger

I want a new double ring cain device for my Reign X. The original Raceface Atlas device is useless, the roller is constantly getting jammed with mud or dust and needs stripping & greasing after every ride.
I wanted a E13 DRS but it won't fit (hits the chain stay) so a blackspire stinger looks like the obvious choice.
Has anyone used one? Is it good?

No, but there's one in my CRC basket and there's £15 off til the 1st May so I'll be interested to hear peoples opinions on them"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

From the reviews it looks pretty good.
Looked at Maestro's video the chian movement is outright dangerous so I guess you really need a good chain device.
Probably go one up and go for the Hammershmit.0 -
I had an XTR Shadow+ rear mech but sent it back as for the same money I can get XT M780 mech, XT 11-32 cassette, SRAM chain and said Stinger chain device.
The rest of it is en route from Rose but still waiting to click go on the Stinger.

I used (still have it) E-thirteen Heim2, the roller is noisey but never jams and very secure, but pricey as it comes with the bash guard.0

I have a stinger on SRAM X7 dual ring. It works well enough, don't have a bash ring but the chain has never come off, and it helps reduce chain slap. It's been on about 8 months or so and I've not thought about maintenance at all so no problems there. However, if I back pedal in the big ring, the chain winds off onto the small ring; not a big problem but a bit annoying when manoeuvring bike through gates etc'. Maybe it's not set up properly.0
